3: Are We There Yet? Making Inclusive Schooling Part of Our Daily Journey
4: A Commitment to Change: One District's Journey Toward Inclusion

2. Mindsets by Carol Dweck

Focus on the Fixed vs. Growth Mindset. There are two readings available from the book by Carol Dweck. Chapter One explains the mindsets and the second reading applies these two mindsets to parents and teachers. Reflect on how this could start a discussion around expectations, rigor, intellectual ability, and disability in your setting.

3. I Am Norm

How do you discuss abilities and disabilities at your level. What is normal? How do you create a culture of acceptance and diversity at your grade level?
Explore the I Am Norm movement at their website. Videos and resources are included:
I Am Norm
